Potted Potter returns to West End for Easter run at Garrick

Potted Potter is returning to the West End’s Garrick Theatre for a limited run from 23 March to 14 April 2013.

The show, which takes on the “ultimate challenge of potting all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes”, is presented by former CBBC presenters Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner.

The piece started life when Dan and Jeff originally “potted” some of the characters and creatures from Rowling’s
fantasy world for a five-minute performance commissioned by a bookshop
to launch the sixth novel in the series.

The full stage show was first seen at Edinburgh in 2006 and has since
had several sell-out London seasons and toured extensively nationally and
internationally, including a 16-week off-Broadway run earlier this year.

Directed by Richard Hurst, Potted Potter is designed by Simon Scullion with composition by Phil Innes. It’s produced by Seabright Productions.

It will run in the daytime slot at the Garrick (times vary), where Rock of Ages transfers next month.
