1st Night Photos: Celebrities queue up for Bodyguard
The Bodyguard premiered last night (5 December 2012) at the West End’s Adelphi Theatre, with a host of celebrity guests turning out to see London’s latest screen-to-stage sensation.
Starring Heather Headley and Lloyd Owen, the show is adapted from the hit 1992 film that made an international star of Whitney Houston, centring on the relationship between a chart-topping singer and her bodyguard (played on screen by Kevin Costner).
Among the guests last night were: Lesley Joseph, Gabriella Ellis, Biran Conley, James Argent, Carlos Acosta, Paula Wilcox, Michael Howard, Des O’Connor, Connie Fisher, Angela Rippon, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elaine Paige, Ben Forster, Simon Lipkin and Tom Hiddleston, alongside director Thea Sharrock and producers David Ian and Michael Harrison.
