The Promise

Part of the Donmar Warehouse’s final season of its annual residency at the Trafalgar Studios, The Promise a heartrending portrayal of youthful hope forged in war and tested by time. It runs until 8 December.


Batsheva Ensemble – Deca Dance

The younger branch of Israel’s world-renowned contemporary dance group the Batsheva Dance Company, the Batsheva Ensemble comes to London with a work which brings together some of artistic director Ohad Naharin’s creations from the last 20 years. It runs at Sadler’s Wells until 21 November.

Spamalot

Transferring to the Playhouse Theatre after a run at the Harold Pinter, Spamalot is lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Starring Stephen Tompkinson, Anna-Jane Casey and Todd Carty, it runs at the Playhouse Theatre.

The Magistrate

John Lithgow takes the title role in Arthur Wing Pinero‘s farce set in Victorian London. Joined by Nancy Carroll, The Magistrate runs at the NT Olivier until 10 February 2013.


Carmen

A production of Bizet’s classic opera from Calixto Bieito comes to the London Coliseum. Conducted by ENO composer in residence Ryan Wigglesworth, Carmen runs at the London Coliseum until 9 December.


A Clockwork Orange

An all-male production of Anthony Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange comes to the Soho Theatre from theatre company Action to the Word. It runs until 5 January 2013.

Metta Theatre brings the stories of Arabian Nights to life with their signature mix of performance, puppetry and original music. Arab Nights runs at the Soho Theatre until 1 December.

Unleashed

Drawing on the experiences of young Londoners, Unleashed shows London through their own words, dance moves, films and music. It runs at the Barbican Theatre until 24 November..


Quimeras
23 November 2012

Guitarist, composer, dramatist and producer Paco Peña presents his 2010 work Quimeras, directed by Southbank Centre artistic director Jude Kelly. It tells the story of a group of migrants who have come to Spain from Africa in search of work, and runs at Sadler’s Wells until 1 December.
