Luke Treadway as Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
As previously tipped, the National Theatre's acclaimed production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, based on Mark Haddon's award-winning 2003 novel, will transfer to the West End next year.
Luke Treadaway will recreate his central performance as Christopher Boone, the 15 year-old maths genius with behavioural problems who sets off to solve the mystery of his neighbour's dogs death.
Treadaway - who performs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays - will be joined by fellow original cast members Matthew Barker, Niamh Cusack, Sophie Duval, Rhiannon Harper-Rafferty, Nick Sidi and Howard Ward.
Further cast details will be announced in due course.
Public booking for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time opens on 23 November 2012, following priority booking for National Theatre members. There will be 150 tickets at £12 each available for every performance.
The production - which premiered in the NT Cottesloe theatre in August - is designed by Bunny Christie, with lighting by Paule Constable, video design by Finn Ross, movement by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett for Frantic Assembly, music by Adrian Sutton and sound by Ian Dickinson.
