You Me Bum Bum Train Returns to London Next Month

Award-winning interactive show You Me Bum Bum Train is returning to London next month for a run at an undisclosed venue in Holborn from 2 to 20 December 2011.

Tickets are being released at staggered intervals over the course of today (7 November 2011); the first batch, for performances from 2-5 December, went on sale at noon.

You Me Bum Bum Train, which was created in 2004 by artists Kate Bond and Morgan Lloyd, takes audience members on a solo odyssey through a series of interactive experiences.

Previous shows have asked participants to spar in a boxing match, deliver a Church sermon and burgle a house, among other scenarios.

Last year’s event was staged at the LEB building in Bethnal Green in a co-production with the Barbican, becoming the venue’s fastest ever selling show and winning the Evening Standard Award for Outstanding Newcomer.

You Me Bum Bum Train will return in 2012 as part of the Barbican’s contribution to the Cultural Olympiad.
