Despite his screen success with Notes on a Scandal, we haven’t lost Richard Eyre to Hollywood. In between future film projects, the director is also planning new stage productions including two possible West End revivals care of producer Sonia Friedman. According to Variety, the first of those will be a high-profile production of Ibsen’s 1881 tragedy Ghosts. This past February, Eyre directed the world premiere of Nicholas Wright’s play The Reporter at the National Theatre, where he was artistic director from 1987 to 1997.
