In The Collection, adapted by Pinter from a television play, Harry and dress designer Bill, who share a house in Belgravia, are disturbed by an anonymous phone call from James, whose model wife has confessed to a one-night stand with Bill. In The Lover, a husband and wife (Coyle and Fitzgerald) use the fantasy of infidelity to spice up their romance, but the charade spills over into real life.
Richard Coyle’s stage credits include Look Back in Anger, The York Realist, Proof (opposite Gwyneth Paltrow at the Donmar Warehouse) and, most recently in the West End, Don Carlos (opposite Derek Jacobi). His many screen credits include Whistleblowers, Coupling, Strange, The Best Man, The Libertine, Cracker and Gunpowder, Plot and Treason.
Tara Fitzgerald is also well known for her screen roles in the likes of Brassed Off, I Capture the Castle, The Camomile Lawn, Sirens, Hear My Song and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Her stage credits include And Then There Were None, Antigone, Our Song, Hamlet (opposite Ralph Fiennes), A Doll's House and Clouds.
Timothy West - father of Samuel West who programmed director Jamie Lloyd’s production of The Caretaker last year at Sheffield Crucible, when he was artistic director there – is a veteran of the RSC, National and the West End, whose recent credits include The Old Country, The Master Builder, Henry IV, Luther, The Life of Galileo, National Hero and, appearing opposite his wife Prunella Scales, The Birthday Party and The External. His many television appearances have included Brass, Murder in Mind and Bedtime, while on film, he's been seen in Iris, The Day of the Jackal, Joan of Arc and Ever After.
Currently at the Comedy Theatre, Matthew Warchus’ hit revival of Sixties sex farce Boeing-Boeing finishes on 5 January 2008 after an extended 11-month run and ahead of planned Broadway and Australian dates and a UK regional tour (See News, 29 Nov 2007).
