Kevin Spacey, the Hollywood actor turned artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre, has given an exclusive Podcast interview to Whatsonstage.com. This interview is now free to download.

The 30-minute interview was conducted at the Old Vic by Whatsonstage.com Radio’s Roger Foss. In it, Spacey explains why theatre is more important to him than his movie career and how his move to the London arts landmark represents a long-term commitment rather than a movie star fad. Over 250,000 people visit Whatsonstage.com every month and the Podcast is proving an increasingly popular feature of the site.

Subscribers to the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Club, Theatregoer Magazine and the Archive service can download the Podcast by clicking here from 17 October 2005. Extracts from the interview will also be published in the November issue of Theatregoer, Whatsonstage.com’s sister print title.

Whatsonstage.com Radio is a new Podcast service launched by Whatsonstage.com which has been in trial over the summer. Other interviewees have included Ben Elton, Brian May, John Barrowman and the cast of Billy Elliot - The Musical.
