And speaking of The Woman in White, the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye also reveals that Andrew Lloyd Webber has been courting Laura Michelle Kelly, the final Eliza Doolittle in the recent West End My Fair Lady, to star in his new musical based on the Wilkie Collins' novel of the same name. The actress would certainly be back in safe hands again, with Trevor Nunn, who directed the Lerner and Loewe revival and is also helming the Lloyd Webber premiere, which has a book by Charlotte Jones and lyrics by David Zippel and is expected at the Palace Theatre in September 2004. Kelly has also reportedly auditioned for Cameron Mackintosh's upcoming stage adaptation of Mary Poppins (See News, 20 Oct 2003). Meanwhile, what's definite is that Kelly will be crossing the pond to appear with Alfred Molina in David Leveaux's upcoming revival of Fiddler on the Roof.
