American stage actor Frank Langella, who ran out last month on Joan Collins and the West End production of Ken Ludwig's farce Over the Moon, hasn't wasted time finding his next project back home. And for anyone worried that the American actor might have been put off Brits for good following his recent sorry experience on these shores, worry not. In his next project, he'll co-star with our own Alan Bates in Turgenev's Fortune's Fool, which will be seen in Connecticut next February ahead of a Broadway opening in April. Despite the Bates connection, methinks Langella won't be angling for a West End transfer for this one.
