David Suchet Stars in All My Sons Revival???

If this year’s critically acclaimed Ken Stott-headed production of A View from the Bridge whetted your Arthur Miller appetite, prepare to gorge yourself in the new year. We hear that another Miller classic, 1947’s All My Sons, will be revived next year, with a cast led by David Suchet as Joe Keller.

In the family drama, the Kellers have been waiting for three years for news on the son who went missing in action during the Second World War. Meanwhile, patriarch Joe is struggling with the knowledge that the factory he owns may have been responsible for manufacturing faulty aircraft parts that led to the death of 21 army pilots.

All My Sons last had a major London outing at the National Theatre in 2000 in a four-time Olivier Award-winning production directed by Howard Davies and starring James Hazledine (as Joe), Julie Walters, Ben Daniels and Catherine McCormack. It was revived in New York last winter with a stellar cast led by John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson and, making her Broadway debut, Katie Holmes.
