Comedian and author David Baddiel will join actors including Christopher Eccleston (in his first stage appearance since his newfound Doctor Who fame), Ewen Bremner, Saffron Burrows, and David Warner in a special rehearsed reading as part of the Old Vic New Voices programme of work in development. In Rachel Wagstaff’s new play Night Sky, a group of artists are thrown together in the chaos of a dictatorial government. The reading will be staged as a charity event in aid of Index on Censorship, the human rights organisation dedicated to promoting freedom of expression across the globe. Tickets range from £10 to £50, with VIP and post-show party tickets also available from £100. Call the Old Vic box office on 0870 060 6628 for more information.
