Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles, Let it Be is jam-packed with over twenty of their greatest hits, recreating their meteoric rise from their humble beginnings through the heights of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. It runs at the Prince of Wales Theatre until 19 January.


Insufficiency

A new play by acclaimed scientist Carl Djerassi, best known
for the development of the contraceptive pill. A comedy of academic manners,
mystery and suspense, Insufficiency runs at the Riverside Studios until 20
October.


Das Rheingold
24 September 2012
The first opera in Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen, Das Rheingold introduces a vast, mythical world. Keith Warner’s production combines the epic and the contemporary. It runs at the Royal Opera House until 26 October.

A new play by James Graham, This House strips politics down to the practical realities of those behind the scenes. Starring Phil Daniels and Philip Glenister, it runs at the NT Cottesloe until 1 December.


Monkey Bars

Fringe-first winning verbatim show about childhood, from award-winning writer Chris Goode. Children’s words are spoken by adults, in adult situations. It runs at the Unicorn Theatre until 30 September. Read our review of the Edinburgh run here.  


Some Like It Hip Hop

Whatsonstage.com and Olivier Award-nominated ZooNation and Sadler’s
Wells production that unites dancing with a Shakespeare-influenced narrative. It returns to the Peacock Theatre until 13 October before touring the UK.
