A revival of The Globe’s 2011 touring production returns to home turf after a slew of UK dates. Shakespeare’s pastoral comedy, directed by Robert Dacre, features a cross-dressing heroine and a the famous rustic fool Jacques. Until 16 September.

Following a run at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, Blink opens at the Soho Theatre Upstairs. Billed as “a dysfunctional, voyeuristic and darkly funny love story”, the play runs until 22 September.

Mamma Mia!

The West End stalwart, featuring Abba’s greatest hits woven into a Mediterranean tale of family lost and found, relocates from the Prince of Wales Theatre to the Novello, ahead of a major cast change which sees Helen Hobson replace Sally Ann Triplett as Donna.


I Am A Camera

Harry Melling, best-know as Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films, stars as Christopher Isherwood in the play which inspired the musical Cabaret. Melling plays Isherwood, whose memoirs inspired the script, in this snapshot of pre-Nazi Berlin, which runs at the Southwark Playhouse until 22 September.

The centrepiece play of Theatre503’s final season with its current duo of artistic directors, Paul Robinson and Tim Roseman, who jointly direct a 503 swansong featuring a five-way collaboration of previous writing luminaries. Also featuring an impeccably lifelike scream. Until 29 September.
