1st Night Photos: Pryce & cast at King Lear party
King Lear at the Almeida Theatre, part of the World Shakespeare Festival, opened to press last night (11 September
2012).
The production stars Jonathan Pryce as the eponymous king, and the rest of the cast includes Jenny Jules, Phoebe Fox, Zoe Waites, Kieran Bew, Michael Byrne, Steven Elliott, Ian Gelder, Richard Goulding, Richard Hope, Barry McCarthy, Chook Sibtain, Clive Wood and Christopher Tester.
First night guests at the after-party also included director Ken Loach and actors Annabel Scholey and Olly Alexander.
Directed by Michael Attenborough, King Lear continues to 3 November 2012.
