McCarthy & Wilson join Bathurst in West End-bound Blue/Orange

Gerard McCarthy and Oliver Wilson have joined the previously announced Robert Bathurst to complete the cast of Blue/Orange, the second show in Theatre Royal Brighton Productions’ inaugural season. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the revival of Joe Penhall’s Olivier Award-winning play will tour nationally from 13 September 2012, before transferring to the West End (dates and venue tbc).

The play centres on a young patient (Wilson) who is convinced that a notorious military dictator is his father. Bruce (McCarthy), a junior psychiatric doctor wants to do further tests and plan longer care. Robert (Bathurst), a senior consultant, wants to thrust him back into the community. A compelling and witty battle of freedom and ambition unfolds.
