Many people mistake Hardeep Singh Kohli for a stand-up comedian, something he flat out denies, but you can see how people make the mistake given the Glaswegian’s jovial writing and broadcasting style.
One thing that Hardeep cannot argue with is that he knows a lot of comics, and his show at the Gilded Balloon this year takes full advantage of that. Chat Masala is part chat show, part cookery programme with Singh Kohli cooking live on stage for his interviewee. He promises a varied and interesting line up, as well as a good curry.
