Show Photos: Shoshana Makes West End Debut

Shoshana Bean, the musical theatre star best known for her year long stint as Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked, made her London concert debut this week (17 August 2010) with two consecutive shows at the Ambassador’s Theatre.

Bean’s 8pm concert featured guest stars Oliver Tompsett and Daniel Boys, whilst the 11pm show included appearances from Dianne Pilkington, Michael Arden and Gavin Creel.

After making her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray, Shoshana Bean took over as the first replacement for Elphaba in Wicked. She recently headlined the Las Vegas burlesque revue Peepshow and released her debut solo album Superhero on her own label, Shotime Records.
