Hollywood star Michael Douglas looks set to appear in a film adaptation of the Arthur Miller play which brought controversy for actor Patrick Stewart. Miller's comic drama, The Ride Down Mount Morgan, ran on Broadway last year starring the Star Trek stalwart. However, Stewart made public his unhappiness with the level of promotion the show was receiving, and the producers filed a complaint to the Actors Equity Association about him. He is currently starring at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in JB Priestley's Johnson Over Jordan. Miller's The Ride Down Mount Morgan concerns a man whose sports car crashes off a mountain road. When he wakes up in hospital, a bizarre series of events unfolds as his two wives sit waiting for him. Miller's work has arguably never been more popular, following numerous UK productions in recent years including the National Theatre's award-winning All My Sons.
