The flamboyant pop singer Boy George is believed to be preparing a new musical for an Autumn opening. Entitled Taboo, the show is expected to feature a number of new songs written by the former Culture Club frontman. The production's title is derived from the London nightclub which the younger Boy George frequented, whilst the musical itself could centre on past pop acquaintances of George's. However, it doesn't seem likely that the singer himself will be appearing in what is expected to be a nostalgic journey into the heart of 1980s London. Boy George was born George Alan O'Dowd in 1961. With Culture Club, and various solo projects, he has sold over 30 million records worldwide including massive hits such as Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?
