Richard Bean's new phone hacking play Great Britain, which opened at the National Theatre only yesterday, has announced that it is transferring to the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 10 September.
Billed as an 'anarchic satire', Bean's play delves into the murky waters of the press, police and political establishment, and the cast at the National includes Billie Piper, Robert Glenister, Oliver Chris and Harriet Thorpe.
It is designed by Tim Hatley, with lighting by Neil Austin, music by Grant Olding, sound by Paul Arditti and video/projection by Leo Warner.
Public booking for the transfer opens at 9.30am on 4 July, with casting for the transfer to be announced.
The transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket follows the second National Theatre production of Bean's work to play there, following the transfer of One Man, Two Guvnors which closed earlier this year.
