Strictly‘s Du Beke & Boag Launch Let’s Do It Tour

Anton du Beke and Erin Boag, aka the “the King and Queen of the ballroom”, will launch their new live dance show Let’s Do It from Northampton Royal & Derngate on 19 January 2012, before touring for three months to 30 further venues, including a one-off date at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 25 February.

Du Beke and Boag have been professional dance partners since 1997. Following three previous live tours, Let’s Do It will see the pair dance to musical theatre classics by the likes of George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Kander & Ebb and Cole Porter, including ‘An American in Paris’, ‘Fascinating Rhythm’, ‘It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)’, ‘Cavatina’, ‘Blue Danube Waltz’ and ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’. They’ll be joined by singer Lance Ellington, guest dancers and a live orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe.

Commenting on the new tour, Anton Du Beke said: “Erin and I love the connection we make with a live audience. We are delighted that as well as making a welcome return to many venues around the country we look forward to performing at several new locations for the first time.”

Following Northampton, Let’s Do It will visit Bournemouth, Croydon, Sheffield, Liverpool, Stoke on Trent, Hull, Belfast, Dublin, Nottingham, York, Gateshead, Brighton, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Reading, Portsmouth, London, Eastbourne, Cardiff, Bristol, Leicester, Aylesbury, Llandudno, Manchester, Watford, Derby, Basingstoke and Birmingham, where the current schedule concludes on 18 March.
