Photos: Tenor Trumps Les Mis In West End Tug of War

By • West End
The casts and crews of West End musicals Lend Me A Tenor and Les Miserables faced each yesterday (13 July 2011) in what had been billed as the "ultimate battle of the three tenors".

The West End tug of war, which took place between the Queen's and Gielgud Theatres stage doors on Soho's Winnett Street, was a resounding victory for the Lend Me A Tenor - their victory a convincing three - nil.

Matthew Kelly, who plays harassed impresario Henry Saunders in Peter Sham and Brad Carroll's operatic farce, was on hand to accepted the trophy on behalf of his fellow cast and crew members.
