Photos: Rod Stewart Meets Million Dollar Quartet

British rock legend Rod Stewart was so impressed when he saw West End Million Dollar Quartet that he popped back to the Noel Coward Theatre this week (Wednesday 13 July 2011) to meet the actors who bring to life American rock legends Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, whose impromptu jam session on 4 December 1956 at Sun Studios in Memphis is the inspiration for the musical.

Stewart is the latest in a line of rock royalty that have “partied with the million dollar quartet”, since the show opened at the Noel Coward on 28 February 2011 (previews from 8 February), following its success on Broadway. It’s currently booking through to 28 April 2012.
