West End stars Jodie Prenger Alistair McGowan, Graham Bickley and Charlotte Page were in Theatreland today to announce a one-off concert celebrating “the best of musical theatre”. Broadway to West End by Special Arrangement will take play on 4 October 2009 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in tribute to Tony Award winning orchestrator William David Brohn.
The evening, which will showcase a range of Brohn’s arrangements for shows including Carousel, Crazy for You, Miss Saigon, Wicked, Oliver! and Mary Poppins, will also be raising money for the children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent, and feature performers from London’s Arts Educational School.
