What will happen during the upcoming scheduling break at the West End’s Theatre Royal Haymarket? There’s nearly seven weeks between the end of When Harry Met Sally on 4 September and the start of Becket on 20 October (See News, 9 Jul 2004). We hear that gap could be filled by a unique repertory season, comprising cabaret and other one-man and one-woman entertainments from the US. Sounds like it could be a winner. If we can no longer have our end-of-summer Divas at the Donmar (See News 12 Sep 2002), we’re happy to have them somewhere else in the West End instead.
