West End producer Adam Kenwright continues to invest heavily in new musical projects. The man behind De La Guarda and Boy George's Taboo has two new shows - musical adaptations of Zorro and Romeo and Juliet - due to open this year. Further down the line, he aims to premiere a musical called Going Once, which takes place at a London art auction, in summer 2003. Playwright Nick Grosso - author of Real Classy Affair and the recent Kosher Harry, both premiered at the Royal Court - was due to write the book, but he has been replaced by Sam Adamson, who recently adapted a new version of Chekhov's Three Sisters. Kenwright hopes to co-produce the show with a major subsidised theatre before transferring it to the West End.
