Sierra Boggess will take over the role of Fantine in the West End production of Les Misérables for a limited period this summer, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

Caroline Sheen, the actor currently playing Fantine, will be leaving the show on 29 June. She is expecting her first child with husband Michael Jibson.

Boggess, best known for playing Christine in Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, began her career understudying the role of Cosette in the US tour of Les Misérables. The date of Boggess's return to the show is yet to be announced.
