Opening: Wanamaker in Passion Play, Menier’s Travels with My Aunt & Lloyd’s Hothouse

Among this shorter bank holiday week’s major London theatre openings, in the West End and further afield, are Some Like It Hip Hop, Passion Play, and The Hothouse at the Trafalgar Studios.

Some Like it Hip Hop

A story loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and Billy Wilder’s Some Like It Hot is told using a combination of physical theatre, comedy and hip hop. Running until 30 June 2013 at the Peacock Theatre.

Travels with My Aunt

Graham Greene‘s comedy, adapted by Giles Havergal, tells the story of a retired bank manager and his globetrotting adventures with his Aunt. Starring David Bamber and Jonathan Hyde, it runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 29 June 2013.
