How many theatres or productions rank amongst your top 50 reasons to enjoy London? Theatre fares well in a list published in the Evening Standard this week, with no fewer than three storming into the top ten Surely it's no coincidence that that trio are all on the South Bank - Shakespeare's Globe (the star of a "huge theatrical renaissance" along the river), the National (with both Adrian Lester's Henry V and the Jerry Springer - The Opera getting special mention) and the Old Vic ("always something new"?). Also on the long list are a cavalcade of Hollywood stars treading the boards, home-grown musicals We Will Rock You and Our House and summer Shakespeare at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. Do you agree with the Standard's choices? What would rank in your top reasons to enjoy London theatre? Feel free to share your thoughts on the Whatsonstage.com Discussion Forum.
