Not to be outdone by his ex Amanda Holden, who'll be taking the title role in the West End production of Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie this autumn (See The Goss, 5 May 2003), Les Dennis is planning a return to the London stage. According to today's edition of The Stage, the entertainer hopes to star in a revival of Patrick Marber's 1995 poker game play Dealer's Choice at the King's Head Theatre in Islington, north London. Dennis' recent stage appearances include playing the cuckolded Amos Hart in Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre, while he's now on the road, reportedly playing to half-empty houses, with his one-man stand-up Les Dennis Live.
