Ralf Little, Simon Day & John Gordon Sinclair are new West End Ladykillers

Casting has been announced for the West End return of Graham Linehan‘s Whatsonstage.com Award-winning adaptation of The Ladykillers, which opens at the Vaudeville Theatre from 29 June.

The new cast will include familiar TV comic actors Ralf Little (The Royle Family), Simon Day (The Fast Show) and Angela Thorne (To the Manor Born) alongside Olivier Award winners John Gordon Sinclair and Con O’Neill.

Chris McCalphy will reprise his role as One Round following the show’s recent UK tour.

Based on the 1955 BAFTA-winning comedy which starred Alec Guinness, The Ladykillers
sees the life of an eccentric old lady turned upside down by an unlikely
group of criminals. Planning the heist of a security van, they decide to
use her as cover and involve her unwittingly in the plot. Things do not
go well and start to unravel in spectacular and hilarious fashion.

John Gordon Sinclair will play the gang leader Professor Marcus, with Simon Day as Major Courtney, Ralf Little as Harry, Con O’Neill as Louis and Angela Thorne as Mrs Wilberforce.

The Ladykillers, which won Best New Comedy at this year’s Whatsonstage.com Awards, is directed by Sean Foley, with set and costume design by Michael Taylor.
