Leanne Jones leads London revival of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens

Whatsonstage.com Award-winner Leanne Jones is set to lead the cast of sci-fi musical Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, which is revived at Leicester Square Theatre from 7 August to 15 September 2013 (previews from 1 August).

The show, which won a Fringe First at the 1995 Edinburgh Festival, is
set in seedy cabaret club Saucy Jack’s, where the acts are being picked
off one by one. All is not lost as the glorious Space Vixens arrive,
interstellar, super-fashion crime fighters here to save the day by the
Power of Disco.

Leanne Jones won Whatsonstage.com, Olivier and Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, her professional debut. Her other stage credits have included Tick, Tick… Boom! at the Union Theatre and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at the Tabard.

The rest of the cast features Jamie Birkett (Jubilee Climax),
Ralph Bogard (Saucy Jack), Kristopher Bosch (Mitch Maypole), David
Malcolm (Booby Shevalle), Kate Malyon (Anna Labia), Marcus Reeves (Dr
Whackoff) and Nigel Thomas (Sammy Sax).
