Live Tweeting: Last night’s Club Outing to One Man, Two Guvnors

Whatsonstage.com’s Theatre Club are attending an Outing to Richard Bean‘s multi award-winning comedy One Man, Two Guvnors this evening (11 April 2012).

The production, which won Bean the Best New Comedy prize at this year’s Whatsonstage.com Awards and has also been recognised with Critics’ Circle and Evening Standard gongs as well as an Olivier Award nomination.

The production transferred to the Haymarket Theatre, opening on 13 March (previews from 2 March 2012) following an acclaimed run at the National Theatre, a UK tour and a sell-out stint at the West End’s Aldwych Theatre.

Bean’s 1960s Brighton-set re-working of Goldoni’s classic A Servant of Two Masters now stars Owain Arthur as Francis Henshall (the role originated by James Corden), with former S Club 7 singer-turned-actress Hannah Spearritt playing Pauline and I’d Do Anything winner Jodie Prenger as Dolly.

In addition to seeing the performance, Whatsonstage.com Theatre Club members will also enjoy an exclusive post-show Q&A with members of the cast.

Whatsonstage.com will be live-tweeting the Q&A, with cast members including Jodie Prenger (@MusicalMissy), Gemma Whelan (@WhelanGemma), Owain Arthur (@OwainArthur), Daniel Ings, Ben Mansfield and Martin Barras all expected to attend.
