Those who missed Peter Hall's recent centennial production of George Bernard Shaw's Mrs Warren's Profession in the West End will have another chance to see it soon - though it may be scarcely recognisable. The production is due to embark on a three-month regional tour, for which it's being recast. Supporting cast have not yet been confirmed, but we do know that, in the title role, Brenda Blethyn will be replaced by none other than Twiggy. Though Twiggy is of course best known as a model, with the enviably slender figure and face of the 1960s, she has appeared on stage several times over the years, notably in the 1983 Broadway premiere of Gershwin musical My One and Only. Last year, she starred in a New York production of Noel Coward comedy, Blithe Spirit, a comedy which she's also played in this country at Chichester.
