1st Night Photos: Merrily cast back at Menier for Proof

Polly Findlay‘s revival of David Auburn’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory last night (20 March 2013, previews from 13 March).

The production, which stars Mariah Gale, Jamie Parker, Matthew Marsh and Emma Cunniffe, follows the Whatsonstage.com Award-winning revival of Merrily We Roll Along at the venue. Merrily cast members Josefina Gabriella and Zizi Strallen were among those out in support last night.

Proof premiered
Off-Broadway in 2000 and was subsequently staged at the Donmar
Warehouse in 2002 starring Gwyneth Paltrow in her UK stage debut.
