Suchet Takes Long Day’s Journey into West End???

David Suchet, who won a Whatsonstage.com Award recently for his performance in All My Sons, could be returning to the West End stage next year in another American classic – Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Suchet dropped hints at the Whatsonstage.com Awards Concert that he is in negotiations for a West End return, and the Daily Mail confirms that the production, if it goes ahead, will be directed by Anthony Page and produced by Kim Poster and Nica Burns, who are hoping for a March 2012 opening. Suchet would play James, the 65-year-old patriarch of the troubled Tyrone family.
