After Rod Stewart (Tonight's the Night), Queen (We Will Rock You), Madness (Our House) and, of course, Abba (Mamma Mia!), the latest band whose back catalogue may get a new lease of life on stage is none other than the 1980s pair of pretty boys Wham!, aka George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. In an interview with London radio station Heart 106.2, Michael admitted he wasn’t keen on the idea creatively – referring to it as a lot of “cheese” - but that various producers were certain it would appeal to a generation of fans. Wham’s hits included “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go”, “Freedom”, “Club Tropicana” and “Careless Whisper”.
