Edinburgh Hit Honest Transfers to London Pub

DC Moore‘s award-nominated play Honest, set and performed in a pub, is transferring to London next month.

The production, which was originally seen in Northampton in 2009 before an acclaimed run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, will be performed in The Queen’s Head Pub near Piccadilly Circus from 1 March to 3 April 2011.

Moore’s darkly comic story features a young man, Dave, eager to share his story over a pint. Disgruntlement with his dull office job leads to a works outing spiralling into disaster, and an extraordinary journey through the night-time streets of London.

Directed by rising star Polly Findlay (Twisted Tales), Honest stars Trystan Gravelle, who was nominated as Best Solo Performer in The Stage Awards for the show’s Edinburgh run.

DC Moore‘s other plays include The Empire, which was produced at the Royal Court last year and subsequently received the TMA Award for Best Touring Production. It was also nominated for an Evening Standard Award and an Olivier Award.

Honest is produced by the Royal & Derngate, Northampton, in association with Seabright Productions.
