Just in case you missed mention of it in our recent photo story (See News, 23 Feb 2006), we wanted to alert you to the fact that you probably haven’t heard the last of Spectator drama critics-turned-playwrights Toby Young and Lloyd Evans. After the Whatsonstage.com Award-winning success of their David Blunkett-inspired Best New Comedy Who's the Daddy?, which had a sell-out run at the King’s Head last year, the pair are now collaborating on a follow-up sex farce – inspired by the antics of the Royal Family (so no shortage of material there!). They tell us they’ve recently completed the first draft and are already in discussions with producers. Young has previously adapted his best-selling memoir, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, for the stage – and even appeared in the one-man show in the West End.
