Stage Marks 125th Milestone…And Counting???

The Stage newspaper marks its 125th anniversary this week. We’re not sure why we’re telling you given that we didn’t warrant an invite to today’s industry reception to mark the event and, in fact, the only time Whatsonstage.com has ever been acknowledged by The Stage is with bitchy “backchat”. Nevertheless, they’ve got to be doing something right to reach such a ripe old age, and the anniversary issue has got some corking content, including interviews with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cameron Mackintosh, David Hare and Peter Hall (some of them conducted by our very own Mark Shenton). So happy birthday and congratulations.
