RSC’s King Henry Cast as Hero???

By • West End
Royal Shakespeare Company actor Chuk Iwuji – who is rehearsing to play Henry VI in artistic director Michael Boyd’s cycle of the bard’s History plays - is being hailed as a local London hero after helping to rescue a woman who had fallen on a Tube line. On Monday morning (8 January 2007), Iwuji was at Clapham Common station en route to rehearsals for Richard III when he noticed a woman on the track. He and another traveller leapt from the platform to drag her to safety before the next Tube train pulled into the station.
