A psychological drama, Bad Blood is billed as a "rollercoaster ride of twists, turns and double crosses where no one is quite who they seem". Tom (Mavers) and Vic (Taylforth) are the ideal couple - rich, beautiful and successful fortysomethings with everything money can buy. But when they discover Vic can't give Tom his longed-for son and heir, cracks begin to show in their marriage and soon ghosts from Tom's past set off an escalating spiral of suspicion.
Taylforth is best known for her six years as 'Kathy Beale' on BBC soap EastEnders and, more recently, as 'Jackie Pascoe' in the ITV's Footballers Wives. Her other screen credits include The House That Jack Built, Messiah, Lost in France and The Long Good Friday.
Mavers is best known for his role as 'Dr Andrew Attwood' in ITV's Peak Practice. He's also appeared on TV in The Unknown Soldier, GBH, Chimera, Body and Soul and Resurrected" and, on stage, in A Passionate Woman, Coriolanus, Saved and Travelling Players. Buckfield has appeared on stage in Les Miserables and Peter Pan and on TV's Hollyoaks and Grange Hill.
Bad Blood is written by Richard Stockwell, author of Killing Time, directed by Roger Redfarn and designed by Martin Johns. Following Windsor, it continues to Bromley, Milton Keynes, Woking, York, Brighton, Barnstaple, Bradford, Stoke and Richmond, with further dates to be announced.
