WOS TV: Talking Constellations with Rafe Spall & Sally Hawkins

Date: 16 November 2012

Nick Payne's acclaimed new play Constellations has transferred from the Royal Court Upstairs to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre, where it opens tonight (16 November 2012, previews from 9 November).

Here, the play's stars Rafe Spall and Sally Hawkins talk to Whatsonstage.com editor Theo Bosanquet about the production and its journey from the 80-seat Theatre Upstairs to the West End.

Running at just over an hour, Constellations is a two-hander romantic comedy centring on the relationship between bee-keeper Roland and cosmology academic Marianne.

Directed by Michael Longhurst, it’s billed as an “extraordinary play about friendship and love seen through shards of infinite possibility stars”.
