Synopsis Ballet Cymru (formerly Independent Ballet Wales) are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature. Award winning Ballet Cymru, bring to life two of Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes, danced to outstanding and internationally recognised musical scores, commissioned by The Dahl Foundation, by composer Paul Patterson and with choreography by Creative Wales Award winner Darius James. With stunning costumes and laugh-out-loud humour this production is an imaginative evening of beautiful dance for lovers of ballet and original storytelling.
