Join us for the official closing event of the 2012 Manchester Children's Book Festival - a full-length musical show, based on Carol Ann's haunting children's stories THE PRINCESS' BLANKETS and, new for 2012, THE GIFT. Enter a magical, musical wonderland created by Manchester's much-loved Poet Laureate and her ever-energetic musician, the wonderful John Sampson. After the event, Carol Ann will be signing copies of her books and audience members will have a chance to meet John and see his amazing instruments from the Far East and the Middle Ages, up close.
