Synopsis
The company is renowned in India due to their name sake dancer Daksha Sheth who is considered to be a rebel artist who 'went astray'. Bhukham highlights how Daksha has stretched the boundaries of Indian dance bringing a vibrant physicality and contemporary outlook to the art form, drawing on aerial trapeze work and the rhythmical intricacies of footwork based on Khatak and martial art forms.
