Synopsis
Britten's five Canticles span most of his composing life, distilling his immense opera writing ability into miniature musical jewels, individual concert pieces linked by a compressed musical drama and intense theatrical potential. Here in one sequence they are brought to life by an amazing cast and artists from the worlds of theatre, art and choreography.
