Synopsis

Everyone knows Santa Claus lives at the North Pole, but fewer people know that Jack Frost is his next door neighbour. It's Jack's job to make sure there's enough snow and ice around for Santa's sled to be able to take off properly so he can deliver the presents at Christmas. But this year there's a problem. Santa and Jack have had a big row and are refusing to speak to each other. Without Jack there's no snow - which means no Christmas! Jack's son and Santa's daughter can't make their dads see eye to eye - so they set out on an Arctic adventure to find another way to bring snow back to the North Pole... Can Jimmy Frost and Bella Claus survive their thrilling adventures with polar bears, fire breathing enchantresses and a particularly abominable snowman? Can Jack and Santa settle their differences in time to come to the rescue? Or will this be the end not only of this Christmas... but of every Christmas ever?

Jack Frost Christmas Show. For under £60 2 adults and 3 children this was billed as a cross between a musical and a pantomine. I was surprised to find only 6 performers plus the muscians, no set, backdrop, curtain etc all very amateur dramatics. The show was about Jack Frost son and Father xmas daughter trying to save christmas by returning the snow to the northpole. I didnt like that although he is mentioned in most scenes there was no father christmas, also he is portrayed in a very negative way which was uncomfortable at times. This would have made a great finale, such a missed opportunity. The cafe downstairs was nice but the notice there stating ice cream available upstairs was not accurate. No ice cream anywhere available at the interval. Good toilet facilities. Lots of pictures showing the renovation process. If you are attending a performance at this venue dont expect a big west end production then you wont be disappointed. The following day we popped into the cafe at 1:30pm for lunch, the doors were open, lights were on, staff present. As we approaced the counter someone turned all the lights off and said closed until 2pm. How ridiculous to be closed at lunchtime and turn away 5 paying customers. ...
