Synopsis

Meet the staff of ‘Goody 2 Shooz’. Sally’s having marital problems but could do without any of the dubious advice offered by Chas - the shop’s resident ‘tart with a heart’. Daphne and Jamie are guaranteed to make a ‘crisis out of a drama’. And the glue that holds it all together is Liz, the gossipy mother hen. When a bombshell is dropped will they all stick together like a well-made ‘Louboutin’ or fall apart like a ‘Primark Ugg boot’? After Chas drops the big one, there is only one course of action for this motley crew a quick drink! Filled to the brim with shots, shocks and lethal cocktails, the revelations come thick and fast. Making it a night to remember.

Good 2 Shooz is a shoe shop like no other. Run by the flamboyant Jamie and assisted by his loyal staff, Liz, Chas and Sally; one has a problem, one has a secret and one has toes like monkey nuts. And not forgetting the off kilter Daphne.
 
As well as meeting the everyday customers that wonder into their shop, they also come together when something goes wrong, and over a drink (or three) they endeavour to put the world to rights.
 
This quirky play is written by Liverpool actress, Donna Lesley Price who also plays the nice but dim Daphne. Her observations when writing these off the wall characters are well observed; she has managed to capture what Liverpool life and its people can be really like. She has written mainly female parts, each one strong, individual characters that really stand out.

I went with a mixed group of people all with different tastes and likes and we all laughed from start to finish. Sure there was the odd touching or sombre moment but these only added shadow to and appreciation for the humorous majority of the show! A fabulous script and even better moments of improvisation when things didn't go to plan! An amazing cast and well worth seeing again and again!! ...
